Nike Dunk DJ AM obviously pay tribute to the late DJ AM and feature black patent leather on the heel flap and toe box. Not only is the Nike Swoosh 3M reflective materials, but the materials behind the perforated patent is as well. Red leather fills in the rest of the sneaker, while a white midsole and black outsole are also used. DJ AM ACDC inspired logo completes the look on the tongue tag and gives credit where credit is due. DJ AM dunks used for the dots along the heel come from the tool that gave DJ AM his fame the Technics 1200 turntable. The perforated circles are stacked four tall, with one being far larger than the others. The DJ nikes black patent leather then represents the shiny vinyls spinning on top.
